Shurtape with Frog Tape sponsors Young Painters
June 3, 2019 3:53 pmShurtape UK became a sponsor of Johnstone’s Trade Young Painter of the Year Competition The event, which is in its 15th year, celebrates young painting and decorating talent across the UK and has a total of eight regional finals. The Midlands heat of the competition took place at the Wigston Campus on Thursday 23 May. Competitors were tasked to draw up and paint to a set design brief over the space of 6 hours. Matt Burnham from Shurtape added: “From our point of view, it is excellent to be investing in the future, we hope these students go on to have long and successful careers” Apprentice Annabel Bethell scooped first place with Corban George, taking second place.
