Shurtape celebrates a decade on TV

Shurtape is delighted to invest in its 10th year of high profile TV advertising this Spring.

The global tape manufacturer’s market-leading products, Duck Tape® and FrogTape® will be promoted on TV from mid-March and throughout April, while the company’s newest brand, T-Rex Tape, is the focus of a concurrent nationwide radio campaign.

Targeting the mainstream consumer DIYer, Shurtape’s Spring campaign is a highly targeted sponsorship and ad schedule across TV and radio and will promote the three brands’ involvement in April’s National Home Improvement Month.

Built around ITV’s prime daytime show Good Morning Britain, and Talksport, it will deliver huge mainstream reach, while also including supporting print and online marketing.

Says Alan Murray, Shurtape UK Head of Marketing; “We are proud to be an official sponsor of the first ever National Home Improvement Month, which seeks to encourage people to make one change to their home. This message will be added to our broadcast campaign to maximise awareness.

“Our official support – and 10 years of investment in high profile TV advertising – demonstrate our commitment to driving the DIY market and supporting our trade customers, who have benefitted from a heavy TV push in the past. Spring is a key time of year and we are determined, as ever, to drive traffic into store to buy, with inspirational ideas and offers.”
